From Renovation to Remarkable New Build 
Nearly a year in the making, this Port Stanley cottage began as a renovation. The plan was to refresh and rework the existing structure - until we uncovered that the original foundation was not strong enough to support the vision or ensure long-term stability. At that moment, the project shifted from renovation to full tear-down and custom rebuild. It quickly became clear that starting fresh was the right decision for our clients - allowing us to design and build a home that is structurally sound, highly functional, and perfectly suited to its unique hillside setting. The behind-the-scenes work laid the foundation for what is now a striking modern cottage retreat.

A comfortable and inviting bathroom space designed for modern convenience while still creating a natural flow and atmosphere. Crisp lines are softened by finishing touches thoughtfully crafted.

The kitchen anchors the main living area with a striking navy island, crisp white cabinetry, and clean, modern finishes. Every detail was selected to reflect a balance of function and simplicity - a space designed for gathering, entertaining, and relaxed cottage living.

Open, Airy, and Light-Filled 
Inside, vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows flood the space with natural light. The open-concept layout enhances the sense of volume, making the home feel both spacious and welcoming.

Designed for the Landscape 
Built into the side of a hill, this home was thoughtfully designed to embrace its surroundings. Clean architectural lines and vertical siding give the exterior a modern yet timeless presence, while the bold red entry door adds warmth and character. 
At the rear of the home, expansive sliding doors open onto a generous deck that feels nestled among the trees. The elevated outdoor living space creates a seamless connection between inside and out - perfect for taking in the wide-open views and enjoying long summer evenings.
