Our STORY
Serving the London area for more than 25 years, CLAY brings experience, innovation, creativity, and quality craftsmanship to every project - along with a deep commitment to doing things the right way.
Clay’s story began more than 25 years ago when Craig and Bonnie Hardy started Covenant Construction while raising their young family. In 2020, they welcomed long-time team member Randy McCulloch as a partner, strengthening the company’s leadership and expanding its vision.
Craig and Randy are both Red Seal licensed carpenters, and Bonnie brings extensive corporate business expertise. Together, they built a company grounded in quality and trust. “We are passionate about building quality, business transparency, and, as our name suggests, we take our contracts seriously.”
Unlike many renovators who rely heavily on subcontractors, Clay maintains a strong in-house team that manages projects from start to finish. Our staff includes designers, licensed carpenters, cabinetmakers, and apprentices who collaborate to deliver consistent workmanship and a smooth client experience. When specialized trades are required, we work with trusted professionals who share our standards.
In 2022, McKaskell Haindl Design Build joined the team, introducing a new level of complexity and craftsmanship to our work. In 2024, Covenant Construction merged with Millennium Design and Build and rebranded as Clay Design Construction Cabinetry - simply Clay. Our name reflects the essence of what we do: bringing the right pieces together and shaping them into something exceptional.
Today, Clay is committed to industry leadership in building standards, workmanship, safety, design, and project follow-through - bringing passion and precision to every project we undertake.
